The new year has definitely come in like a lion keeping me busier than I had imagined making it difficult to keep on track with my biggest most fundamental New Year resolution-- GET FIT AND GET HEALTHY!
I feel like between work and everything else going on its almost impossible for me to make it to a gym of any kind to work out. I barely have enough time to sleep 7 hours pack a lunch and shower before its time to go back to work but it needs to get done.
So what have I been doing to get healthier and feel better about myself in 2013? For starters- I have become an Advocare junky. There is this amazing drink mix that they make called Spark-comes in a bunch of flavors and contains so many vitamins and nutrients as well as energy without all the sugar and fructose that you find in juice and soda. Spark is the perfect way to kick any pop and/or coffee addiction you may have while providing you the perfect boost of energy (and working nights I am in DESPERATE need of extra energy!)! I have also taken on the Advocare 24 day Challenge which consists of a 2 week herbal cleanse as well as adopting some MUCH healthier eating habits.

Next- I have been finding monthly work out challenges that I can participate in that take mere minutes. This month I have been partaking in a "Push-Up Challenge".
As well as a quick "Morning Yoga Sequence" to get the blood pumping! I definitely recommend this sequence-even if you aren't a big yoga person (yet)! Case in point- the unstretchable boyfriend even got in to it...and admitted he really liked it at that ;)
