Livin' La Vida Procrastination

I am currently on my 5th day off from work in a row and I must say it feels FANTASTIC! I could totally get used to this life! I feel completely 100% rested for the first time in I don't know how long and I had been looking forward to this time off for a few weeks now because I had big plans to be uber productive during this 5 days off. How productive have I been? NOT AT ALL. As expected I slept way late on Thursday and sat around pinning and facebooking until Derek got home. This was capped off by supper and catching up on our shows we missed from the beginning of the week.

Since productivity wasn't in the cards on Thursday I made a list of everything I wanted to get done for Friday. Oswald had a dog grooming appointment at 9:00. After that I found myself wandering the aisles of Hobby Lobby (not productive). Then when I came home I figured I'd do a little blogging. Did you see a blog posted here on Friday? me either. Instead, I turned the TV on to CMT and found myself reading up on the blogs that I follow ---->
when all of a sudden the music videos switched to Extreme Makeover Home Edition reruns (which I HATE). However, this particular episode featured special guests Michael Oher and Leigh Anne Tuohy....so I was intrigued...and within the first 5 minutes I was sitting there crying like a damn baby. I'm not talking about a few tears streaming down my face either. I'm talking full fledged red eyes, ugly faced bawling in the middle of my living room. It was utterly pathetic--but an amazing episode--I recommend you look it up if you're in the mood for a tear jerker.

By the time I got my composure back it was time to pick up the Oz man. After picking up my new little furry black wiener dog I thought a nice little road trip around town sounded delightful because it was such a beautiful sunny day (don't kid yourself-it was still WAY too cold for spring)---and I ended up driving around looking for houses for sale and grabbing the little pamphlets for 3+ hours! Once again--not productive.

Once I got home I continued the house search online for a few more hours and when I finely decided to  get up and get some house cleaning done, I looked over to see my adorable puppy curled up on the bed taking a nap--so I did the SAME THING...until Derek came home from work. Can we say lazy pile of dog doo?!

On a bright- semi productive note-- I found a handful of houses that I love and are in our price range. So next step--meet with a realtor later this week. I'll keep you updated on the happenings!

SOOOO....what did we learn from this post of ramblings?? Well how about that if procrastination were in the Olympics I would be a gold medalist..or at the very LEAST a silver or bronze...and also---my new furry black wiener dog is adorable!
Before the new 'do
After-- my furry wiener dog

Peace and Blessings :)
